It contains of art works from Greece, Rome and Etruria and also European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculpture, and decorative arts. This museum also well known of its unique architecture, gardens and view - overlooking Los Angeles from the top. As soon as we parked our car, we took a cable train to the top of the museum spending a half day in the museum. The guys were really interested with the photography arts.

If you remember the movie Coraline
Right after Getty Museum, we headed to Farmers Market & The Grove - is a boutique outdoor shopping mall located across the street from the famous Los Angeles Farmer's Market. As you enter the shopping mall, you can get an overview hopping on a unique, double decker tram ride that moves on a track back and forth through the shopping center. This ride which is free is a fun way to see what's in store for your shopping and dining.
The famous Funnel Cake with strawberry topping.
There is a dancing fountain located at the center of The Grove, every 30 minutes the fountain comes alive with songs and a water show in which the water dances in rhythmic patterns. But if to compare with the fountain in Bellagio, Las Vegas - this is too tiny LOL =p
Pictures below are taken by Toitoi with his new superB cute lens. I did NOT edit a shit. And we ended our evening having dinner at a Singaporean-Malaysian restaurant located at the Farmers Market. I love the mee goreng - Its really Yummy Yummy O_O And the cendol drink!
How do you like the original effects from the lens?
Goshhh . . . * drooling *
Next post up Downtown LA & Chinatown.

Hollywood - is a district in Los Angeles, situated west-northwest downtown LA, known as the historical center of movie studios and movi stars. Many historic Hollywood theatres are used as venues and concert stages to premiere major theatrical releases and host the Academy awards. It is a popular destination for nightlife and tourism and home to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Kodak Theatre - is a live theatre which opened in 2001 on Hollywood Boulevard at Highland Avenue, where the historic Hollywood Hotel once stood, has become the new home of the Oscars. While motion picture production still occurs within the Hollywood district, most major studios are actually located elsewhere in the Los Angeles region. Paramount Pictures is the only major studio still physically located within Hollywood. Since its opening on November 9, 2001, the theatre has been the home of the annual Academy Awards Ceremonies, The Oscar. It has a very nice interior structure with expensive shops and the grand staircase entrance columns hall to the Kodak Theatre is flanked by columns displaying the names of winners of the Academy Award of best pictures and Movie of the year. Besides, The Kodak Theatre is most commonly used for public cultural events such as concerts, shows, and performances. And tours are available for those who is interested to walk in to the grand hall and of course tickets need to be reserved.

Hollywood Boulevard is a boulevard in Hollywood, LA beginning at Sunset Boulevard in the east and running northwest to Vermont Avenue, where it straightens out and runs due to west of Laurel Canyon. West of Laurel Canyon it continues as a small residential street in the hills, finally ending at Sunset Plaza Drive. On the east side of Hollywood Boulevard it passes through the neighborhoods of Little America and Thai Town. .Grauman's Chinese Theatre - is movie theatre located along the Hollywood Walk of Fame with most distinctive features are the concrete blocks set in the forecourt, which bear the signatures, footprints, and handprints of popular motion picture personalities from the 1920s to the present day. If you are interested to see the superB interior of this theatre, you can always go to the website for a glance. We didn't manage to go in, but you can if you have a movie ticket on hand XD I regretted for not going it - so if you have a chance to go in for a nice and expensive movie, please do so! And because all the building structures are so HUGE in the states, unable to capture a really nice picture BUT you can view the panoramic view here if you want to. Its a really really nice place!

Michael Jackson the pop star - one said they worshiped at the wrong print. This print is meant for another person named MJ as well. This you gotta check it yourself!

Hollywood Sign - sits on Mount Lee, the tallest peak in Los Angeles. It measures 450 feet long and each letter is 45 feet tall. Its a very famous landmark in Hollywood area and at times, its really really difficult to find, unless you have a good driver - like I do. Hehe. I heard some of my friends had been complaining for ONLY able to see the sign from far but not as near as you can take near photos of the sign, so I am really glad that we made it up! The houses along the hill are really really huge, nice and awesome! So if you are trying to get your way up to the sign, please do not give up because you need few attempts! Or you can always see the fake sign in Hollywood Studios Haha! LOL =p We took tons of pictures with the sign because well, its really hard to get there! Enjoy the pictures XD Most of them with wide lens & fisheye by WCChen, a.k.a Toitoi our darling. I really love the pictures by him. And we miss them already!
