Niagara Falls - The Niagara River, as is the entire Great Lakes Basin of which the river is an integral part, is a legacy of the last Ice Age. Niagara Falls are voluminous waterfalls, straddling the international border between Canada province of Ontario and U.S.A of New York. Composed of 2 major sections seperated by Goat Island : Horseshoe Falls (Canada) and American Falls (U.S.A). Situated just 20 minutes from Buffalo International Airport and an hour from the Toronto area.
Buffalo neighbourhood - Wanderwall Hostel.
Ontario, CanadaAt Observatory Deck
Maid Of Mist - take you to the base of the American Falls and then to the basin of Horseshoe Falls, through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. Water rushes all around us and soak with excitement! We love the ride - my best ride EVER ! A real historical ride aboard the world-famous Maid of the Mist is a half hour thrill of a lifetime! A-must-ride XD
American Falls
Horseshoe Falls
Wind Of Cave - takes you closer to the waters of Niagara Falls than you thought possible. You ride an elevator 175 feet (53 meters) deep into the Niagara Gorge. Then, clad in a bright yellow poncho and wearing the special footwear provided, a tour guide over a series of wooden walkways to the famous "Hurricane Deck". As you stand at the railing, you are a mere 20 feet (6 meters) from the billowing torrents of Bridal Veil Falls. The rushing waters loom above you, dousing you with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on. Rainbows are usually visible day and night. Unfortunately, it was raining late afternoon, thus we ended up NOT experiencing this.
A magnificent view from Terrapin Point. Also dinner at Terrapin Point - Garden Burger, very special and delicious !Our best tour in U.S.A so far ! ! !

Next up Los Angeles, California.

Our final day in New York City ended up real badly. We were supposed to catch a bus from NYC to Buffalo 07:30, oh yeah we missed the bus! Overslept. We went early to the bus stop after checking out - and paid extra $5 for changing a new ticket 12:00. We waited near the bus stop, a place where we can see buses stop and move so that we will not miss the bus again.

Unfortunately AGAIN we missed the bus! How unlucky and stupid missing 2 buses in one day ! ! ! So, people if the next time you guys wanna travel to Buffalo, please remember the bus to Toronto and Buffalo is the same bus! -__-
And again, we gotta wait there till the next bus 19:30. Ended up we had our dinner in Jimmy's BBQ - oh yeah, best of the day - Very delicious plate of
Pigpick.
We boarded our bus on time - Megabus. We chose this bus company instead of Greyhound which is more well-known in the states because Megabus has a better price - cheaper, newer buses and also better service! Clean bus, friendly driver, its a double-deck bus plus wifi on board.

The journey took around 8 hours - we reached Buffalo around 04:00 the next day - well a day wasted just like this.

U.S.A National Day

Pigged by ChiroBie at 2:45 PM 0 Anti-Pig
(Travel Period : 28th June - 5th July 2009)

United States Independence Day
, 4th of July. Lucky us - get to join the celebration with other New Yorkers on this special day, the National Day of U.S. Like every other countries, firework is a must on this great festive, commonly associated with other activities like dinner, barbecues, picnics, carnivals, concerts, baseball games,
speeches and etc etc. Unlike every other year, the fireworks are no longer held in Manhattan city - instead along the Hudson River, make a better view, superB grand fireworks compare to any other years, and one said its because Obama is the new president year 2009. Polices can be spot every 100m along Hudson River, including Airforces.
Most people started "camping" along the piers from noon till night - first come first serve - they've got the best view. Danbo and I went late evening - not perfect but good view too. Not the best pictures we've got because we were unable to set tripod - pictures are not perfect but good enough to keep as memories. We locate ourselves at Pier street 56, waiting impatiently . . .
Everyone waited so impatiently for the fireworks, not until 8:20pm, fireworks started ! Along Hudson River, 5 different places along the river. The fireworks set at Jersey City, the opposite site of Manhattan.

The fireworks were awesome ! ! !
The best fireworks I've seen so far ! ! !
(after Disneyworld, Orlando hehe).
Our favorite - Firefly. Moves and flies.
Such a perfect day and wonderful night, we ended at TGI Fridays for dinner.
Our 5th day in New York City. End.

Next up Niagara Falls, Buffalo, New York States.
